Lentil and Bulgur Soup (8 portions)

Olive oil 橄欖油 10g

Onion 洋蔥 1pc

Tomato paste 番茄糊 15g

Pepper paste 辣椒醬 5g

Water 水 1050g

Dried mint 乾薄荷葉 10g

Fresh mint 薄荷葉 a few少量

檸檬汁 a few少量

Chili powder 辣椒粉 3g

Bulgur 布格麥 80g

Lentils 扁豆 80g

 

Methods

1. Sauté onion with olive oil in a pot.

2. Mix tomato paste and pepper paste with 50g water and pour into the pot.

3. Add dried mint and chili powder ,and then stir.

4. Wash lentils and bulgur and add them into the pot, and then stir for a few minutes.

5. Add 1000 g water and let it boil.

6. Boil the soup in the lowest heat for 30 minutes.

7. Serve hot with fresh mint on the top.

8. Squeeze some lemon juice in the bowl to finish.
